The attractive thing about these side hustles is that they can be done from the comfort of your home, you are not going to need any upfront investment, and you can fit them around your schedule as you want.
So if you are looking to make some extra money but you don’t want the effort of learning new skills, these websites are perfect for you.
1. Branded Surveys
The first one is Branded Surveys. You only need to answer simple surveys that can be about anything, from your day-to-day habits, to what you think the best restaurants are and what TV shows you watch.
For every survey you answer, you’ll earn points which can be exchanged for cash and rewards and you can easily do it even if you are a teenager because the lowest age allowed is 13.
How much you earn depends on how much work you put in. In terms of pay-per-survey, Branded Surveys is definitely one of the more generous survey sites around and you can receive an average of 1 to 5$ for a 5 to 10 minutes survey. If you look for the right surveys, you can easily earn between 10 and 15$ per hour, which is not great, but it’s extra money that you can earn in the evening before going to bed and can add up to a decent extra every month. Since answering surveys can be really time consuming and the pay is not the greatest, I’m going to give this Website a 2 out of 10 money rating.

Shopping can make you money, did you know that?
The next Website is called Rakuten and is for people who like to shop online. Rakuten is one of the most famous websites that allow you to shop online from thousands of online stores and famous brands and earn a cashback that can go from 2-3% of your purchase price to up to 40% in some cases. They have large stores such as Target, Walmart, Amazon, and many more. All you have to do is log in to your Rakuten account and click through the store you want to shop in, or download the Chrome Extension and Rakuten will tell you if there is a cashback available while you are browsing on the other websites.
I’m giving Rakuten a 2 out of 10 on the money scale because you are just going to earn a percentage of what you spend shopping. But if you shop online anyway then you should consider this option because it’s extra money and you don’t need to do anything for it.
Even if you are just getting a percentage of what you spend, If you shop online anyway, why not getting something back?
3. Bananatic – Play Games
What if you can earn extra money, just by playing games? Use Bananatic. Yes. Bananas. By playing videogames through Bananatic you can earn reward points called “bananas” that you redeem for gift cards, merchandise and game credit.
The registration process is pretty straightforward and when you are done you can easily view all the games you can play. Each game has a corresponding reward in Bananas, which in most cases varies between $3 and $10 by completing all the requirements. Playing games is not the only way you can earn rewards, nevertheless I would suggest you to use Bananatic only if you enjoy playing the games because for the other tasks there are better sites to earn more.
Bananatic has several payment options available, including PayPal, Steam Wallet currency, game codes, in-game currency, Amazon gift cards, and even Visa prepaid cards.
I’m giving bananatic a 3 out of 10 money rating because it’s true that you can get good money from a single game, but you are required to take some steps and not simply play 5 minutes with it.

4. Enroll
If you want to earn some extra money from home without any skill required, testing websites might be a good option. Enroll is a user testing website that pay you for testing websites and apps and providing feedback.
You join the website as a tester and get paid for taking usability tests and providing feedback based on your experience. What makes enroll different from most similar websites, including some that you will see on this list, is that enroll does not require you to have a microphone or webcam. Instead, you follow the instructions and answer just a few basic questions about your experience using the website. A quick few minute test can earn you between 50 cents and 2$ and a more complex test can earn you up to 10$. There are certainly better user testing websites like the ones I’ll mention later on this list but if you are not comfortable being in front of a webcam this might be a viable option for you. Nevertheless I`ll give Enroll a 4 out of 10. It’s definitely not the best on the list, especially compared to my number 1.
5. FOAP
For pictures’ lovers we have an app called Foap that lets you sell the pictures that you took on your iphone or android device to agencies or companies like bank of america, Sony, Nivea and Kraft Heinz – which by the way is an american Company but with a german name. Kraft Heinz – Heinz – Heinz. Anyway you can upload literally any picture, including selfies of yourself, pictures of your food, beautiful landscapes of your last trip or photos of cute cats. When a brand or agency finds your work outstanding and purchases a video or photo from you, Foap shares the profit with you 50/50. Foap offers a special feature that tells you what kind of pictures companies are looking for so you can take photos that will actually sell.
You can also earn even more money by submitting videos and pictures to their missions simply follow the mission brief and upload one or multiple videos or pictures that reflect the kind of imagery the brand is after. If they select your images you can earn hundreds of extra dollars. Get started simply by downloading the app on your apple or android device, sign up for a free account and start posting. I’m giving Foap a 5 out of 10 because you can earn good money from a picture, but first somebody must want it.
6. Scribie
My next one is a transcription service called Scribie, that needs no skills at all except being a good listener and typing well on the computer. You can make money from the comfort of your home transcribing audio or video for companies. A lot of companies use this service to receive a transcription of speeches, recording, meetings, phone conversations or even youtube videos. All you need to get started is a computer, an internet connection and a paypal account so that you can get paid. If you go this road, I suggest you also invest in a good keyboard with some good wrist support, and Scribie itself suggests that Comfort is Key and shows a huge chair in his FAQ to let you know that you should be comfortable.
As for earnings, According to Scribie’s official site, they pay $5 to $20 per audio hour. The payment depends on several factors like the quality of the audio, level of difficulty, etc. It’s also important to note that they’re paying you by the “audio hour” which is different from an hour worked. The positive thing is that they also provide automated transcripts to save around 60% of the typing effort.
Beginners can earn from zero to as much as six hundred dollars per month transcribing while more advanced and fast typers can earn up to three thousand dollars all from the comfort of your home. I’m giving this a 5 out of 10.
7. Swagbucks
The next is a website called Swagbucks that allows you to make money by completing so-called micro-tasks. The thing that I love about Swagbucks is that it offers every possible way to earn money easily from answering paid surveys, to shopping, playing games, watching videos, sampling products and so on. So you don’t really get bored easily.
Most tasks take literally minutes to complete and don’t require a special skill.
It’s 100% free to join and use and you can request a PayPal cash payment once your account balance reaches $25. Or if you want to redeem less you can also get gift cards as small as $1 for frequent payment.

Swagbucks can be seen as an all-in-one solution that includes most of the tasks of all the other websites, and this is in my opinion a great advantage. Other than surveys, shopping, games and videos you can earn money for example by testing subscription services. The best offers can earn you as many as 10,000 SB points ($100) for doing activities like opening a new bank account.
Now, to be honest, you are not going to replace your regular job’s income with Swagbucks’ tasks, nor will you be able to make it a business in the future.
Swagbucks gets a 6 out of 10 on the money scale because you are not going to get a salary out of it but it has the big advantage that you can earn money in many different ways, making it much less boring than just answering surveys all day long, so it’s easier to invest more hours into it and earn more.
8. Snapwire
Now, let’s assume that you like Instagram and the hundreds of pictures that you took and your good smartphone have made you a “great photographer”. What if instead of posting the pics on Insta you could earn really good extra cash by posting them somewhere else?
Snapwire does exactly that, and allows you to sell pictures and videos to brands around the world and earn top dollars. Snapwire does exactly that and is very similar to another website on this list, Foap, in that you can sell pictures and videos to brands around the world and earn top dollars.
There are basically two ways to earn money through Snapwire. One is by building your portfolio and when a customer buys a photo or video from you you get a commission.
The other is the most common way to earn money on Snapwire and is through participating and winning a Challenge or Brief. The process goes like this: A customer places a request with a deadline and tells photographers what kind of picture he is looking for. Photographers start submitting pictures. When the deadline expires the client chooses the best ones and pays for photographers. Now the amount of money that you make depends on the request but it can range anywhere from 25 to as much as several hundred dollars and although Snapwire does have a 10% fee the amount you see on the brief page reflects the total amount you will be paid. I’ll give it a good 7 out of 10. Worth giving a try, no?
9. Gig Walk
If you like the idea of making money walking around your city, you might want to try Gigwalk.
Gigwalk lets you complete small jobs for businesses that want to know how they’re doing and you can earn incredibly easy money doing so. Once you apply to be a Gigwalker, you’ll see a map full of tasks in the neighborhood immediately around you. These tasks include things like auditing menus at restaurants, taking pictures of grocery shelves to make sure that a product is being displayed properly, checking quality and accuracy of employees’ work in a shop and so on. When you complete a gig, Gigwalk reviews your work and deposits money straight into your PayPal account. Piece of cake, right?
As you complete more and more “gigs,” you’ll accrue “street cred” which enables you to complete more lucrative gigs. Gig rates range from $10.00 to $300.00 for the biggest gigs. You might spend a while taking pictures of menus at restaurants for a few bucks each, but you’ll soon work your way up to bigger gigs.

10. Usertesting.com
Usertesting.com is probably the most famous testing platform and will pay good dollars for testing websites and applications. Some of the largest companies in the world use usertesting.com to gain valuable insights into their products and are willing to pay really good money to get real feedback from real people. To give you an idea of the amount of money you can make, the company states that it will pay you $10 for each 20-minute video and up to $120 for an interview which can last around 1 hour. Your job will be testing things like websites, apps and even actual physical products to make sure that the user experience while using those products is on par with the brand’s expectations. What you’ll need to get started is a computer with a stable internet connection, a microphone and a paypal account if you want to get paid. The difference from the other one of my list, which was Enroll, is that with Usertesting you are going to have to record yourself through the app while testing, but if you are not camera-shy it’s a much better option than Enroll because you get paid much more. To register, simply head over to usertesting.com, click at the very top where it says get paid to test, enter your email and follow the instructions to begin. Really easy, you get good extra money and you foster an improvement in media quality with your feedback. I’ll give this one a nice 9 out of 10.
